Questions from SMBs and decision-makers

What is Vetera.pro and what does it do?

Vetera connects businesses with experienced professionals whose documented experience is relevant to a business challenge. Describe your situation, review profiles, and decide whether to unlock a contact to speak directly.

These professionals are typically 50 years old or older, or have 20 or more years of demonstrable experience. Vetera is not a job board, a recruiter, or a CV database: it is a precision tool that turns your problem into a list of profiles with documented achievements structured with the PAR method — Problem, Action, Result.

How do I find an expert on Vetera.pro?

You start by describing your business challenge to the Expert Digital Assistant in natural language — as you would explain it to a colleague. You do not need to know the right job title or specialty: Vetera helps you turn your problem into a clear search.

The assistant may ask a clarifying question to better understand the context, urgency, or type of help you need. From there, the platform compares your challenge with the experience professionals have documented.

You then review a list of professionals related to your challenge. Each profile shows a match score together with the key information to assess fit: PAR cases — Problem, Action, Result —, functional specialty, type of collaboration, availability, and an indicative rate range. The number of results depends on your challenge and the profiles available.

The match score indicates how closely the profile information relates to your challenge. It helps you compare options. It is not a probability of success and does not replace your assessment when you speak. Contact details remain protected until you decide to unlock a profile. Only then do you get direct access to the expert and can speak without intermediaries.

How much does it cost to use Vetera.pro?

Searching and comparing profiles is free. You pay only if you choose to unlock a professional's contact details. The applicable price and taxes are shown before you confirm payment. Fees for any subsequent work are agreed separately with the professional. Vetera takes no commission on that agreement.

The first 100 experts unlocked are priced at the launch rate of 50.00 € + VAT per expert. Once they run out, the price becomes the regular rate of 90.00 € + VAT per expert.

If you unlock more than one expert in the same purchase, the regular rate drops 5% for each additional expert, up to a maximum of 20%. This discount does not stack with the launch price. Each unlock automatically generates an invoice.

What is the PAR method and why does it matter?

PAR stands for Problem, Action and Result. It is the method Vetera uses to structure the real achievements of every senior professional.

Instead of listing job titles — for example, "Sales Director 2010–2016" — a PAR case explains a concrete situation: what business problem existed, what the expert did to solve it, and what result was achieved.

This matters because it allows a company's challenge to be compared against situations other professionals have already lived through and resolved. Vetera's matching is therefore not based on keywords, titles, or credentials alone, but on practical evidence: problems tackled, decisions taken, and results obtained. For the company, this means less uncertainty when evaluating a profile. For the senior professional, it means their experience is understood through what they have achieved — not just the titles on their CV.

What happens after I unlock an expert's contact details?

After payment, you get the expert's full contact details: full name, email address, phone number, and LinkedIn profile if available.

From that point, contact happens directly between the company and the expert — with no Vetera intermediary. The terms of any collaboration — scope, duration, modality, fees, or any other arrangement — are agreed directly between both parties.

How is Vetera.pro different from LinkedIn, a job board, or a recruiter?

LinkedIn, job boards, and recruitment agencies can be useful — but they answer different needs.

On LinkedIn you normally have to know what you are looking for, filter profiles manually, interpret CVs, and reach out without knowing whether that person has solved a problem like yours before. On a job board, you post a vacancy and get volume: many applications, mixed fit, and a lot of review work on your side. A recruitment agency is typically set up for permanent hires and charges a percentage of annual salary when a hire is made.

Vetera.pro works differently: you describe a specific business challenge and the platform finds senior profiles with documented achievements related to that challenge. We assess fit through the PAR method — Problem, Action, Result — so you can review evidence before deciding. You do not pay to post a vacancy, to receive CVs, or a commission on a subsequent hire. You pay a flat fee to unlock the contact details of a profile that interests you. From there, you speak directly to the expert — no intermediaries, no employment commitment implied.

Do I have to hire the expert permanently after unlocking?

No. Unlocking a profile gives you access to the expert's contact details to start a direct conversation. There is no obligation to hire, no exclusivity, and no permanence. There is also no subsequent Vetera commission on any agreement you may reach with the expert.

The terms of any possible collaboration — duration, scope, compensation, modality, or type of relationship — are agreed directly between the company and the expert.

Can I see contact details before paying?

No. Before unlocking a profile, contact information remains protected. You will see an anonymised profile with enough information to assess fit: partial name, functional specialty, relevant PAR cases, engagement type, availability, and indicative rate range.

Full name, email, phone, LinkedIn profile, and other identifying details are only shown after paying the unlock fee. This system protects the expert's identity and lets the company decide with confidence before paying. On Vetera you are not paying for raw data — you are paying to access direct contact with a senior professional whose experience has already shown relevance to your challenge.

Can I work with a professional in another country?

You can consider an international collaboration when the professional's experience, languages, availability, and working arrangements fit your project. Confirm the terms and any requirements for the work together before making an agreement. Availability varies by profile.

Are PAR case studies projects completed through Vetera?

They may describe a professional's earlier career experience. When a case involves a project completed through Vetera, we will identify it explicitly. Illustrative examples are labeled separately.

Is it free to create a profile on Vetera.pro?

Yes. Creating your expert profile on Vetera.pro is entirely free. There are no subscription fees, no listing fees, and no commission charged to senior professionals when a company unlocks their profile or contacts them.

The profile is built with the help of the Expert Digital Assistant, which guides you through a structured conversational interview. The goal is to translate your professional background into PAR cases — Problem, Action, Result — so that companies can understand what you know how to solve, not just what roles you have held.

How will companies find me on Vetera?

Companies do not browse profiles at random or search manually by job title. They first describe their business challenge to the Expert Digital Assistant. From that need, Vetera identifies the most relevant senior profiles through its matching system.

The fit is based on your PAR cases — Problem, Action, Result —, your functional area, the sectors in which you have experience, the type of collaboration you offer, and your availability. The more specific and well-documented your PAR cases are, the easier it is for Vetera to understand what kinds of problems you know how to solve — and the more likely you are to appear in relevant searches.

Before a company unlocks your profile, your identity remains protected: they see your PAR cases, your specialty, and the information needed to assess fit — but not your personal contact details.

What types of collaboration can I indicate on my profile?

On Vetera you can indicate the formats in which you are willing to work with a company. Vetera does not define or impose those services — it simply helps companies understand how you could add value and what kind of conversation makes sense to start with you. You can select one or more formats:

  • Mentoring — periodic strategic guidance sessions to support an owner, executive, or team in decision-making
  • Defined projects — collaborations with a concrete scope, an estimated duration, and a clear deliverable
  • Interim management — temporarily taking on a critical function or area, if both parties agree to that level of involvement

You can also indicate your availability, preferred modality — remote, hybrid, or onsite — and an indicative rate range. The final terms of any collaboration are always agreed directly between the company and the expert.

How does the anonymisation work on my profile?

Before a company unlocks your profile, your identity remains protected. The company sees only the information needed to assess your fit: a partial name, your functional specialty, your relevant PAR cases, the type of collaboration you indicate, your availability, and an indicative rate range.

Your full name, email, phone number, LinkedIn profile, photo, and other directly identifying details are not shown before unlocking. If any combination of information — for example city, sector, role, or career history — could make you easily identifiable, Vetera may display that information in a more general form to protect your privacy.

When a company pays the unlock fee, they gain access to your contact details and professional identity needed to start a direct conversation with you. This is based on the consent you accept at registration, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

What happens when a company unlocks my profile?

When a company unlocks your profile, it sees your full identity and can reach you directly through the contact details you have authorized in your profile: email, phone, or LinkedIn, as applicable. Keep an eye on those channels.

Before the unlock, the company will already have seen your anonymised profile and your relevant PAR cases, so the conversation does not start from zero: they arrive with a clear idea of which experience of yours could fit their challenge.

A company unlocking your profile does not oblige you to accept any collaboration. The terms of any possible agreement — scope, duration, modality, fees, or availability — are negotiated directly between you and the company.

Can I pause my profile if I am not available?

Yes. Vetera is designed to let you stay in control of your availability. When you are not available, you can pause your profile or update your status from the platform, using the options available in your account.

While your profile is paused, it should not appear in new recommendations. Your data and PAR cases are preserved so you can reactivate it when you are available again.

Platform and technical questions

What is the Expert Digital Assistant?

The Expert Digital Assistant is the guided conversation that helps each user enter Vetera in a clear, structured way.

For companies, it helps explain the business challenge in natural language: what is happening, what has already been tried, which area is affected, and what kind of help might make sense. For senior professionals, it guides a step-by-step interview to translate their career into PAR cases — Problem, Action, Result. Instead of filling in a traditional form, the expert answers one question at a time and the assistant helps convert their experience into concrete, company-readable achievements.

The goal is not to replace human judgement, but to organise information better so that the matching is more precise.

In what languages is Vetera.pro available?

Vetera.pro is available in Spanish and English, both on the corporate website and inside the platform. The Expert Digital Assistant can guide companies and senior professionals in both languages.

Experts can create their profile in Spanish or English, and companies can describe their challenges in either language. Where needed, Vetera can help structure information so that profiles and challenges are easier to understand and compare across both languages.

Does Vetera.pro work for hiring permanent employees?

Vetera.pro is not conceived as a traditional recruitment tool, nor as a platform primarily oriented towards permanent hires. Our focus is on facilitating flexible, defined collaborations between companies and senior professionals: mentoring, project consulting, interim management, specialist advisory, or targeted support on specific challenges.

That said, Vetera.pro facilitates contact between companies and professionals. If, following a collaboration, both parties decide to explore a different kind of professional or contractual relationship, those agreements belong exclusively to the company and the professional. Vetera.pro does not intervene in those decisions, nor does it replace the channels, processes, or responsibilities involved in a permanent employment hire.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account and associated personal data directly from the platform settings, or by requesting it at info@vetera.pro. Vetera will process the deletion in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

Some data may be retained for the legally required periods if a fiscal, accounting, contractual, or legal obligation requires it.

How do I contact Vetera.pro for partnerships or other enquiries?

You can reach the Vetera team at info@vetera.pro for partnerships, press, support, or general enquiries.

If you want to use Vetera to find a senior expert or to create your expert profile, you must do so through the digital assistant available at app.vetera.pro. To maintain matching quality, we do not handle company needs or professional profiles by email — those processes must take place inside the platform.
